I’ve Got

I’ve got too many things in my hands

books and drinks and bottle caps

too many things

knobs and napkins and knockers

nuts and cheese

and smelly things

lavender and basil and skin and bones

sense of touch

sense of feel

a pen or a pan

or a fishing reel

a dish or a cup or a cotton shift

I’ve got too many things

in my hand to sift

tactile sensations

of pebbled areolas

and moist exertions

and greasy frijoles

fingerprints

lifelines

buggers and boners

shovels and daggers and steering wheels

all of the wonderful things that I feels

with my hands

that are full
